Early Years
Pastor WD Favour was born on June 18, 1974 to Mr and Mrs Livinus Ashiegbu, of Odumara, Orodo, in the South Eastern Imo state of Nigeria. Pastor WD Favour comes from a strong evangelical and pentecostal Christian background. His parents are elders in the Assemblies of God Church, Nigeria.
At the age of 19, while studying Electronic Engineering at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, he received the calling of God to become an evangelist. At 21, he eventually dropped out of the University of Nigeria in his third year, to answer the calling of God for his life.
At the age of 23, he founded the church , now Citizens Family Worship Ministries, which he now pastors.
Full Time Ministry
In 1998, at the age of 24, Pastor WD Favour became one of the youngest published authors in Imo State, Nigeria. His book, ‘Rivers In The Desert’ became a local bestseller and attracted the attention of several national media organizations. He has since written two other books and hundreds of articles in several magazines.
In 2004, he founded the Citizens Family Campus Church. This is a church that is uniquely designed to feed the spiritual needs of the students in Nigeria. In less than a year, this church expanded into 6 Nigerian campuses. As a result of this, in 2005, he held a very powerful students outreach event tagged ‘CAMPUFEST 2005′ which transformed the lives of thousands of students from various Nigerian Universities. This event was held in partnership with a Christian organization from the United States, Soundwave Ministries, headed by Dr. Edwin Miranda Jr. of Victory Christian Centre, Tulsa Oklahoma.
Pastor WD Favour is currently the Chancellor of Success Academy Nigeria.
His passion is to help people from all walks of life experience the metamorphic power of the divine presence. He is also driven by the passion to empower individuals discover themselves, maximize their potentials, and fulfill their destinies on earth.
His books, e-books, articles, telecasts, and so on continue to transform the lives of thousands around the world.
Pastor WD Favour is also the President of Citizens Family Inc, an inter-denominational Christian church in Nigeria. He holds a weekly talk show called the Success Academy, which is focused on youth empowerment and leadership development primarily for Nigerians, the rest of Africa, and other so called third world nations.
His weekly radio broadcast, ‘Success Academy on Air’, which reaches tens of thousands of people in South-Eastern Nigeria, has already become a media favorite as a result of his unique style, the relevance of his content, and the annointing that accompanies his delivery.

Pastor WD Favour is married to Pastor (Mrs) Sharon D Favour. They are blessed with a daughter, Marvellous, 8, and two sons, Excellence, 6, and Destiny, 4, and the entire family live in the South Eastern Capital city of Enugu, Nigeria.
